Dont worry it happened to me too

Do this

1. hard reset the phone again

2. press the reset button before customizations

3. go to Start/settings/connections/connections/advanced/select networks

4. now on the first one click new and name it Cricket WAP and Cellular Line and press next

5. on the next screen put #777 and click next

6. User Name is [email protected] and passwork is cricket and click finish

7. now go to proxy settings and check both boxes and write wap.mycricket.com on proxy server

8.now go to advance and write wap.mycricket.com on the server and 8080 in the port(do it in all 4) now click ok until you go back to network management

9. now on the second one click new and name it Cricket mms and celular line and click next

10. do step 5 & 6 again.

now you are done with the connections settings

For the next step you will need a registry editor

Download PHM regEdit(google it its free)

open it ad go to Hkey Local Machine/software/arcsoft mms ua/config/mm1/wspheader

make sure the strings say this

Accept Application/vnd.wap.multipart.related
Accept-Language en
User-Agent Arcsoft/MMSUA/v3.0
X-Cricket-MDN your phone nuraber(you might have to replace sprint to Cricket)

if you do not have this on your phone, than click on the one that is wrong and change it to say this

if you missing some of them, go to edit/ new string

and if there are other stuff on there besides those 4, delete them

Now go back to Config/UI

find EnableServerEdit

and change it from 0 to 1

now Soft reset and sit tight

now go to your messages and click menu/MMS configuration and server and add new

Server Name Cricket
Gateway leave blank
Port Nuraber 8080
Server address http://mms.mycricket.com/servlets/mms
Connect Via Cricket MMS
Sending limit (your choice)
Wap version Wap 2.0

now make Cricket your default and your done

Just remeraber that when you send i picture, you will have to write [email protected]

if is t-mobile phonenuraber@ tmomail.net

dont know any other ones

I tested this on 3.3, 3.5 and all custom 3.5s and it worked in all of them

if you cant get it to work than you doing something wrong..... lol

After I installed Stock 3.5, I installed No Junk 3.5 right on top. New went back to it's miserable old self of not working. Not wanting to redo all my settings, I just installed Stock 3.5 right on top and it appears to still be functioning properly. So, while I did install Stock on top of No Junk, . :buddies:

I'm now still adding my Registry settings for MMS so I haven't tested that yet. I will let you know in about 10 mins.

wap does work! Just sent Picture message and text message. Golden.

ok so should i try kirvins stock 3.5? can i just install it over the no junk or do i need to go back to the verizon backup that i made first. another question also is your wap working? i installed minimo and i tried the wap but it says that the proxy server that was configured could not be found please try again later.

No Junk 3.5 does not like my phone. I just installed Kirvin's Stock 3.5 and everything is fine and dandy. New mms works like it did with the UTStarcom stock 2.2. I can live with this now.

jguttz: I did install the unhider and unlocker on my phone. I removed the stock rom and replaced it with badutahboy's custom rom. The New button would act like I clicked it but nothing would happen. The only way I could get it to work with this phone is by using Kirvin's Stock 3.5. As for receiving mms on the No Junk 3.5, I could not try it because I don't know anyone up here in Portland that has cricket and my other phone is another XV6700 that I mod'd for the wife and that one wasn't working either.

The stock one at the bottom of that page is the one that I used. I can give you my own FTP with username/password if you would like to make sure you're using the one that I'm using. PM me for help. its wierd though because i used the no junk rom on another 6700 and had no problems, but i think the thing i did different with that one is i didnt install the APA rom unlocker right on that phone so when i did the hard reset it still tried to install all that other verizon stuff but i just did a soft reset before it did that. could that be the problem? and on the one im working on now i can receive and download pics but cant send them.
