How would I build a DIY 12v water pump, from scratch?

Hey! I've built a monster of a PC recently, i7 foundations, 4870 HD graphics etc. And I've bought almost every part of a full liquid cooling system. But now I'm feeling rather insane, as I want to add my own completely custom touch to it. And what better part to build custom than the water pump for the cooling system! I know this seems totally insane, but I really want to do it! Information on building a completely custom 12v water pump is what I need, I've heard of them being built using regular 12v motors as foundations, or using the laser-platform motor from a DVD drive, but I've not been able to find ANYTHING useful online! I'd really love if some epic folks out there could give me a hand :] I'll happily post pictures of the process and finished product!

    Thanks in advance! :]

    -Marc
