I want to stop plavix. My stomach is killing me. I have had to have additional stents since taking, so obviously not working anyway. Research is showing what I've been feeling is what is showing in my body. Doctors can't figure out. Did the stretching of esophagus looked at stomach at the same time showed signs of infection and bile reflux. So lifted the bed, took the pills...no help. Had esophagus stretched again and bottom of my stomach had closed. So they opened, took pills again. I have had no relief. I believe it is the plavix and protonix battling each other. The bloat is horrible. My body is their warfield and I am paying dearly. If the plavix effectiveness is being dulled by protonix, why bother? I've had it. I started taking omaprazale for protection from aspirin for CAD. Since I have been on this plavix, it is gut wrenching pain.
