It should be like this way. you can use VLC360 and play almost any video you want...So far i have played xvid and divx with no issues on it. You definitely enjoy it.
I Finally Got a Xbox 360... Wait, so you burn say a .avi or .divx movie file to a CD, then put that CD into the 360 and you can upload the video to the HD? Does this work with movies, as long as they are small enough?

I Finally Got a Xbox 360... If you want to put a ton of mp3s on the hdd, get an external hdd and stream from that. It's almost the same (plus you can make your own external 100gb hdd for around $50-60).

I Finally Got a Xbox 360... in I just bought a 360 a week and a half ago. its good but meh, so pricey. $60-70 for games is ridiculous, they should be $1 tops.
I Finally Got a Xbox 360... You still cant stream videos from your computer, however you can copy them from a cd to your HD and play them that way. I thought the dashboard update was going to fix that, but it didnt.
