Yes, it will work. Only locked phones are stuck with a single network. Recently I sufered with a locked phone and was relieved only after I used the unlock code from Mobileunlocksolutins.com. For further guidance I sort the free unlock instructions from Mobileunlockguide.com for my Blackberry Curve 8520
