    You are too tall for a 250 sports bike and too heavy for any 250cc bike.

    Road/trail bikes are designed for taller riders if that is suitable: minimum 400cc.

    A suitable road bike would be a Suzuki GS500 or a 500cc jap cruiser.

    If you are a Kawasaki fan look at the ER 6, Versys or KLE 500. Would help if we knew the restrictions (if any) in your State.

    Again Height and weight will have no bearing on your first motorcycle. You first bike will be the bike that introduces you to motorcycling, it is a learners tool. When you learn how to ride and develop your skills you will want something that is better suited to your new advanced skill level.

    It is better to start off small and stay safe and be smart.

    Would a Kawasaki 250 ninja be a good bike for me?

    Im looking for a smaller bike because im just starting. I plan on taking the course, but I am afraid that i will be too big for it. (Im 250 and about 6 ft)
    Any help?
