can i get DLA in UK for serious mental health problems? .I work for the National Health Service 3 days a week as a medical sister on a very, very busy ward and 2 days a week as a Union Representative for the nursing profession. However I have been suffering serious mental health problems accumulating in a nervous breakdown. My GP finally realised how serious my condition was and put me off work for 3 months and I have been seeing a counsellor and a psychologist. As I am still not well would I be able to claim disability living allowance. Any advice would be most appreciated, thank you.
