Jailbreak and Unlock are two different terms but they are both usually confused. Jailbreaking allows a user to install third party applications, software, themes and removes the limitations that are on the apple device. In short it gives the user the root access to iOS whereas unlocking means the user can switch between network carriers. If you want to unlock visit Onlinegsmunlock.com and for jailbreak, Jailbreakiphone4sim.com iPhone supports only GSM models and hence you cannot use Verizon which is a CDMA.

It is not possible now because The iPhone works off of AT&T's cellular network which is GSM (Needs A Sim Card) and Verizons network works off of CDMA. The only other popular network the iPhone could be unlocked to right now is T-Mobile because it is another cellular network that uses GSM

Unlock iPhone for Use with Verizon?

I hear that Verizon has the best network and that coming in June you will be able to unlock the iPhone to use with any carrier. Is this correct? Or is it possible now?
