How much can I haggle on a used bike at a Yamaha dealership? So I found a 2008 Yamaha YZF-R6 for sale at a Yamaha dealership that is about 20 miles from my location. The R6 looks like it is in perfect condition form the pictures. The dealer has posted that they want $6,799 for it. The bike currently has 2,636 miles on it and is all stock. It is also the version that is yellow with black flames on the sides. It looks pretty good from my perspective. Well I'm on a budget right now but I would love to own this motorcycle. Do you think there is possibly any room to haggle? Do you think I can make the dealership take $1,000 off of the price. I mean the listing has been up on their website for quite sometime so obviously it has been sitting in their showroom for awhile. Also, do you think I can use the color as a negative aspect? I personally love the color but I have noticed that most R6 motorcycles are either black, red or blue which makes me think that those colors are much more desirable. What do you think I can do?
