Kicker CVX Wiring DVC 4OHM? When wiring a DVC 4ohm sub in parallel down to 2ohm...how exactly do i wire it? Most say positive to positive and negative to negative and then connect positive and negative to the amp...but its not that cut and dry to me..i guess im a lil more curious. Say if i wired Coil 2 + to Coil 1 + and Coil 2 - to Coil 2 - and then from Coil 1 + to amp and Coil 2 - to amp..would that damage the sub? kinda like wiring across voice coils. If the amp is connected to the positive of coil 1 and the negative of coil 2 and its still wired in parallel would it damage anything? would it be louder or be exactly the same? ***Coil 2 - to Coil 1 - ***
