(Preferably high school Guys please, but also girls.) How to get a guy to notice you?

So I really like this guy. I only have one class with him, and we don't sit next to each other (assigned seating). I'm a sophomore and he's a junior. From a scale from 1-10, 1 being super dorky, and 10 being super popular, I'm like a 5. I'm in band too. I also get fairly good grades. I'm super shy, and he's this varsity football (back-up quarterback), varsity basketball and lacrosse player. He's way more popular than me. I'm not usually into these types of guys, but this guy is the one of the best-looking and nicest guys ever, and is hilarious and smart. I don't think I've ever liked a guy this much.
