I had a tooth extracted 1 week ago and my clot fell out?

I went to brush my teeth and swish with salt water. I have one of those little mirror tools to look inside your mouth, and I didn't see the big red clot that was there before. I've been careful when eating, but that's the only thing that I could think would make it fall out.

I dont want to get dry socket, and I am noticing just a tiny bit of irritation where the tooth was.

I dont really have the money to have to go see the dentist again, what should I do....
