Verizon: Palm Pixi or Vortex?

My family and I are switching from sprint to verizon, and I have the option to chooses a palm pixi or the vortex. I had the pixi with sprint, and I loved the phone. The only thing it didn't have was flash player, but other than that, it was a pretty good phone. But the vortex I believe has the android operating system, and that phone looks pretty good as well. So, does anyone have any personal stories about the vortex, or have any reasons why one phone is better than the other (I asked in the store, but they just wanted me to get the most expensive phone)? It would be greatly appreciated!
