Is transgender another type of body dysmorphic mental illness?

just like really skin bulemics think they are overweight and fat... a transgender thinks they are female rather than male... anorexics think they are fat rather than skinny
or one that apparently people are willing to fix... as opposed to eating disorders which are not encouraged... people tell them flat out you are not actually fat in fact you are way underweight... can you imagine a doctor who was willing to put people under the knife to make them an unhealthy skinny weight - none would allow it - so then why would you allow someone to deform their bodies just because they think they are the opposite... gender
