how do i start applying for medical school? in the U.K. how do i prepare?, etc?

i am a mature student in BSc (hons)Biomedical science and graduating in 3 weeks time, i either hav a 2:2 or 3rd due to being a bit proud in not letting the university know i hav a learning disability thus handed in assingments late with deducted grades.
i would still like to know if explaining this i would be given a chance to pass the exams to get an interview for medical school.
which university's in Uk do you think would accept me?
weird thing is even if they say know i can move on in life, as i have always wanted to be a doctor!

so, what are the names of the exams i need to pass for the interview? and when are they?
how should i prepare? and what should i do experience/job wise etc before i get in? (if i get in)
