If I get a pre paid T-mobile phone and put my SIM Card in it can i just sync my...

...numbers from my...? online account? I ask because I tried saving my contacts to the SIM card but it said SIM was full so I sent them to my online account. So if I sent them online can I send them to the new phone too??
