Sounds to me the ignition switch has become loose and is slowly corroding away. You need to get it replaced now otherwise it may corrode and need a brand new replacement.

You simply have to get the alignment system on your jeep replaced. If you cannot afford a replacement re-alignment you can simply get the engine replaced.
