    The Angel of the North is a famous piece of sculpture, not to mention the countless historic buildings, castles, cathedrals etc. My hometown is a World Heritage Site.

    So I don't know what England you've been to, but it wasn't my England.

    Perhaps the most famous example of ancient British architecture is Stonehenge, which is thought to date back to around 2400 B.C
