    Yes, no matter where or how you get your phone you have to pay a $35 activation fee. In some cases I have heard of people persuading them to waive the fee, but that is the standard. Also, if you are planning on doing a contract you can get pretty much any t mobile phone for free on ebay!

    Activation fee for tmobile?

    so itll be my first phone and say i get the 500 minute unlimited text plan, if i get an old cell phone from a friend, would i still have to pay an activation fee for tmobile? if so, how much?
