    Need help on Earth Science - Rocks?

    Describe two expected similarities between rock samples found equal distances from and on opposite sides of the mid-atlantic ridge.

    1.rocks on both sides are Basaltic rocks --- extrusive igneous rocks.
    2.the rocks on opposite sides which are exactly equidistant from the ridge are of same age .
