What are the truths and what are lies are about climate change?

Alleged "global warming" is just part of Climate Change.

Climate change covers ALL changes, AND is part of a NATURAL "long term" cycle, MUCH longer than a mere man's lifetime.

Just how much "man" contributes to this change is debatable, and that is what the fight over "global warming" is about.

THIS planet has been BOTH much warmer AND much cooler than it is at this time.

Just ask yourself why you would care if the Artic Ocean melted completely in the summer. Some people have successfully propagandized this to be some sort of ominous thing. In fact the Arctic has melted before and certainly will again. It freezes in the winter and melts in the summer. That is what ice does. What wild life if disappearing? Humans have certainly encroached into former wilderness. We are a successful species. I wouldn't want it otherwise. We should preserve as much as practical but we also shouldn't be afraid to responsibly utilize what resources we can. One reason we are successful species is that we learn to utilize our resources. There are some on the political left that fret and feel massive amounts of guilt at our success. These people are malcontents and there is nothing you could do to satisfy them. That is not to say there isn't some legitimate research but overall the threat is grossly exaggerated and the proposed solutions aren't solutions at all. As a geologist, nothing is more irritating that the names global warming and climate change. The climates always change and we have been warming for 300 years as we recovered from the Little Ice Age.

Without having done much research, I believe that there must be some reliable data indicating global warming occurring on the surface of the earth, or else the much attention placed by many nations to this subject will not be justified.

I also believe that most of the alarming consequences portrayed by the news media - heat waves causing deaths, glacier parks and arctic wild life disappearing, etc – are speculative tactics leading to secure more tax payer’s money; the frightening the news the more money allocated to scientists and politicians.

A couple of recent events – Gore’s claim which was later denied by the originating source (Dr. Maslowski): Arctic will be ice free within a few years and some emails leaked by at University of East Anglia - raise more skepticism

You are right there is no evidence for Man Made Global warming
There is no evidence that the planet is heating up any more than normal

CO2 has increased in the atmosphere but its by a tiny amount

less than 0.015% of greenhouse gas is CO2
95% of that is naturally occurring and good for plants!
They will tell you we should just cut it back because we should and could maybe lead to catastrophe but there is no evidence.
The scientists have been caught lying cheating and hiding information - how can we trust them?

Fig.A2.Irg.gif is an excel fake and doesn't correlate with any real scientific data over that period like the ice record. The other two references come from Greenpeace Ecowarrior websites and therefore have no scientific value. Unbelievable that these people think the world should go back to living in caves based on data like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That we miss the entire point by arguing over a topic and not do something to just clean the air so we can breath, use energy that makes sense and take care of the world and people we live in.
But lets continue to be stupid and argue.
