what religious theme would you choose if I invited you to my summer garden party?

last year our local catholic priest came dressed as a nun, but rather spoilt the illusion by staring at my 13 year old nephew all night whilst licking his lips for some reason. He also appeared to have a sore groin as he constantly rubbed the affected area. What a nuisance ! I do hope it as cleared up for him this year.

we also invited a brace of those muslim people for the sake of religious tolerance. The male came dressed as Ayatollah Khomeni and pretended to put fatwahs on various guests to much amusement! Unfortunately it was hard to tell what his woman came as, ( she had to wear her fancy dress under her burka )

A couple of those strange Jehovah's Witnesses came in their ordinary clothes. they were forbidden to drink or dance or bring gifts to the party due to the restrictions of their cult, the poor dears, but they did amuse themselves by having a bible quiz between themselves. and they were jolly good at bible knowledge too !!

the brace of mormons came too and had the party guests in stitches including my husband Boris who laughed so hard he almost had to change his trousers. They were telling the most hilarious story of how their religion came about. The guests became rather muted and an embarrassed silence befell when the guests realised they were being serious !

all in all a rather successful party and One hopes the success will be repeated this year !
