    how to know that particles of perfume move on their own rather than carried...

    ...around the room by wind/air curren? i was ask to make a experimental design about how can we be sure that particles of perfume move on their own rather than being carried around the room by wind or air currents

    use a room that has been closed up for a while with no fans or anything like that - the air will be quite still

    don't move around in the room you are doing the experiment in - ie. have one person open the perfume at one end of the room and then have another person act as the 'perfume detector' at the other end of the room
