I'm so sad I haven't seen this. I couldn't find anyone who wanted to go with me. I still have time to catch it, but I wanted to see it before the Oscars.
Thanks for this thread!

I for one freakin' loved 'There will be be blood'. :thud:
I saw it 2 weeks ago and I just cant stop thinking about it still!
This film I think will stand the test of time. It's such a timeless masterpiece of cinema in my opinion (god i sound pathetic lol).
And so freakin' weird and original in the best way but also so very classic. A film lovers film.
And ofcourse Daniel Day Lewis' performance who was beyond brilliant and to me completely embodied the character in every way. He is never recognizable within Daniel Plainview at all.
Paul Dano was also brilliant and a worthy adversary of Daniel
There's also the amazing score which perfectly complemented the film
Im going to see it again tonight
It's amazing so many people 'got' it. But I'm sure some people would just be so baffled by it that they will revolt against it.
Rotten Tomatoes has it at 91% fresh
