PIN Locked to RIM

I sold the one I had already for $250 CAD. I was up front about the PIN to the buyer. I heard one of my IT guys saying you could flash the phone or something like that to use a different IMEI and PIN.

IMEI spoofing is illegal and in some countries/states falls under anti-terrorist laws.

That is scary to be honest. Well whatever the guy does with the phone is up to him, hopefully he knows that.

On the topic of selling phones - I'm sure that we've all heard from someone else how they received a message from a buyer who wants you to ship the phone to Nigeria. Is there any danger in doing that?
