    Looking to buy Levers

the CRG gold is amazing and the finish is unlike any other lever. You have to get the old batch of gold anodizing as the new batches are not shiny pretty gold. IMO ASV's look good on Gixxer's and other "Race Replica's," but for an 848 CRG's are the way to go.

I have the CRG in blacl, regular length. I tried the shorty ones and felt that the pull was slightly more effort.
    Love them.

Agree. The shorty needs more effort especially at clutch side. I have a set of Pazzo and plan on order another set of regular ASV.

    Cesarb,

It is hard to replace the grip you got there? How is it the grip?

This grip is not hard to replace at all but what the dealers do not tell you is that you will have to cut the stock grips since the Rizoma's are shorter that the stock Ducati grips and if you don't cut them, you will see a small gap or space between the bar end and end of the Rizoma grip.
I had them done by a friend who had a lathe and he cut them straight. If you do them and decide to cut, make sure your clip ons are securely held in place and your cut is dead on at 90 degrees.
Also, if you have big hands (I don't), this set up will leave you with a shorter overall grip and your hand will be hitting the fairing when moving the bike around in the garage or when parking it where lock to lock movements are required.

Do you have to cut the actual metal?

Is this the case with all rizomas?

    samssonz,

how you like you gold lux? I received yesterday, but I wasn't really happy about it. I probably exchange to 2 sets of sportline and save one set for my new streetfighter.

I had gold lux with gold conical bar ends. I suppost to install them today at Brea Ducati...

    Looking to buy Levers

I am going in to Brea Ducati this afternoon to install the rearset. was plan on install the grips too and have they cut it for me. I didn't like the gold color on the grip. I rather have Brea install it for me when sportline arrives.

I got them from PJ's, very nice people. I rather return them in sealed condiction.

How about we meet at Brea Ducati and have them install yours? The will cut for you. It is a $45 or $50 fee, and no biggie...
