I heard it was free, at least on some beaches, or maybe all. Is there any truth to this? I'm an American and want to camp for free somewhere in Malaysia, whether on a beach or elsewhere. I want to camp for many nights, maybe like 15 nights a month, to save money when I can't afford a hostel. Is it possible?
