what was so hard about it?
what was so hard about it?
all silicone hoses:
CORSE Silicone Hose Kit 848-1198 Black
CORSE Silicone Hose Kit 848-1198 Blue
CORSE Silicone Hose Kit 848-1198 Red
$149.95
I didn't swap out the water pump housing, i didn't think it need it. My hose kit is one of the original ones that uses aluminum for the straight runs. I think the newer ones that are all one piece should be easier to install seeing that they have less pieces and trying to figure out which 90 goes where wouldn't be as much of an issue.
i went with red but i agree with 10-6 figureing out witch goes where is a p.i.t.a. and once you figure out you installed them backward you go to cussing!
i got a cut finger and 2 bloody knuckles out of the whole ordeal
yeah but the aluminum pipes look real cool, I think the straight silicone ones look kinda cheap, I dont know if they perform any better or worse and they are probably easier to figure out but I still think Ill get the DP hoses if not just for the look
well first time i fired up the bike the aluminum parts between the hose started smoken i was like coool!!! cuase they werent hot... lol
so after the first run they didnt smoke anymore.
i think they were evaporating the rest of the engine ice spilled on them
