I read a review that said they thought Bonnie Wright was "Top Class" in this film, was she really worse than Emma?? I didn't think that was possible!
Unfortunately HP isn't the type of film to win Oscars....
Maybe they'll do what they did with the last LOTR film and give them every award going because it was so fantastic??!!
What about daniel radcliffe?? He deserves mentioning....or maybe Alan rickman will outshine everyone else...or Tom Felton.....SO MANY GOOD ACTORS!!
ah...but there is the marvelous thing of 4od!!
i agree with that and so it feels like some amateur could have made the film.
Whilst we get some nice touches, nice fan moments there isn't a real story running through it. For example we get:
1)Harry telling Ron on the Express that Snape made an Unbreakable vow for Draco.
2)Lupin, Tonks, Arthur telling Harry, Ginny that Snape was probably just pretending to offer Draco help.
3)Ginny/Harry having a "romantic moment" split up by Ron
4)Arthur tells Harry that Draco was looking at a Vanishing cabinet in his shed plus explanation as to why they were popular back in the day.
5)Burrow fight scene.
ok that may not be in the right order but still it gives the impression that they are just scenes - nothing really seems to further the plot. Ok 1&2 give us the impression that Draco is up to something and they are nice scenes as they are in the book. We don't really need to see that Draco's up to something as we already know that as v/o at the start told us he had a mission from the dark Lord plus with all the scenes with the vanishing cabinet.
As much as scene 4 was nice touch as we saw Arthur's muggle shed but everything in the scene was being spoon-fed to us.
The fight scene we have been told was to add dramatic tension but had they not told us Draco was given a mission by Voldy at the start and showing us what he was up to and just made scenes like 1,2 &4 above more dramatic well they probably wouldn't have needed to do that coz we wouldn't have a foggiest what was going on and therefore would be more dramatic anyway. Then they would have more time to spend making the movie more dramatic by not telling us everything so explicitly.
wonder if he likes Harry Potter!
Destroys the locket with Gryffindors sword?
The only bit I remember about that is when it says that hes the least loved in a family where they desperately wanted a girl to make Ron feel worthless.
I am offended by that comment!
thanks
attack on the burrow? That isn't in the half blood prince, I just read the book?
