    08 mustang amp problem.?

i got a pioneer bt8000 installed in my o8 mustang with a factory installed shaker 500, but after the installation finished i was told that my 2 subs on the doors wouldnt work unless i bought an amp to power them, so i bought an alpine MRP-M500.
so my question is how can i install my 2 side subs into my new amp?

You need to use the RCA pre-outs from the deck to get the source. The "subs" (they arn't subs, they are actually just a woofer), should have been unplugged from the original amp in the trunk. Just tap into the wires there and you should be good.

If you don't completely understand what I'm describing, your best bet will be to take it to a shop and let them do it. (especially on an 08, don't wanna ruin your warranty)

If I were you, I would look into replacing your front 6x8's and the tweets in the door with a nice component set, running them and the rear speakers off the alpine amp, and not use the decks amp.
