    I am 13 am I to old to begin to dirt

    No you are not to old. I started rideing when i was 13 too so go ahead.

    The people who told you this meant that its too late to be pro. Only pro riders need to start at a younger age because they need lots of experience. If you don't plan to be a pro then any time is the right time.

    Don't know where your from. but the guys answering above don't race in the UK. the kids here start at 2 or 3yrs old. and are winning races a couple of yrs later. you will never be in the same league as them. its not too late to learn to ride for fun. but be under no illusion you can beat these kids. take it up as a hobby, beat your friends. don't plough loads of money into a non starter career.

    nope not at all, some people don't even have their driver's license and they're well into their 20s so don't feel bad. If this is something that you really want to do and are excited about, give it a shot. Do that for a while and master it then give yourself another challenge.
