Island - Pictures (1977)
Obscure, scary prog. in the vein of early King Crimson and Acquiring The Taste-era Gentle Giant that, surprisingly, has neither guitar nor bass of any kind. Rather, dual keyboarRAB, tribal drumming and crazy sax/flutes dominate here, and the result is superbly unique. Plus the cover art was done personally by H.R. Giger!!
Queen - A Night at the Opera (1975)
Told myself I was never going to get a Queen album, but was converted to this particular one after figuring out the tracks are actually quite eclectic beyond the overplayed Bohemian Rhapsody. Prog, vaudeville, swing, hard rock...it covers a surprising amount of ground; hence, enjoying it at the moment.
My last CD was Shihad. But i didnt buy it i had it burnd, so my last bought cd was way back years ago and like urban Hatemonger i just cant remeraber what it was.
Bought; 'Compunktion Vol 1' ...compilation of British Ska punk banRAB.
