in my mind the best band of this generation. i am astounded at the voting right now
My first cassettes given to me by my father were the red and blue compilation albums which he bought in the early- mid 70's. I still own them. They are my first memories of music and although their first couple of albums are very much of the time, albums such as 'Rubber Soul', 'Revolver' and 'Abbey Road' are more than good enough to ensure their place even if I don't listen to them as much as I used to.
i'm in the process of reassessment of his works and so far along i've been impressed. the depth of his discography is pretty extensive and on that basis he certainly deserves a spot in the rab hall of fame.
I know they are probably really good (based on what everyone says), and someone who's name eludes me uploaded their first album. I probably would vote yes, but I won't vote at all because I haven't heard any.
I need to listen to some Naked City.
I'm no expert on either, to even provide you with examples but that's still a really durab thing to say.
Yeah Blur get in for sure. Pulp were better though :
Insanity.
Nah...I'm deadly serious.
This is Joy Division we're talking about. Attachment 2825
