Yeah, i love Waters bass playing personaly, i think he makes some fantastic basslines, and his playing compliments the music well, which to me is much more important than being a technical wizard. That being said he isnt one of the best, in terms of skill, David Gilmour is actualy better, just listen to Pigs(three different ones)and Hey You, some crazy work on the fretless there.

Yeah. Personally I think Steve Harris is the epitome of metal bass. He is everything that a metal bassist should be. Steve is the man. And his daughter's hot too :tramp: .

I only ment in metal i am aware that there are many other better bass players however they ore not in this genre
