I liked everything before the black album the most.

Look at your post count!
&St Anger really wasn't that bad, i'm probaly going to like the next one.
/\ Wow...thanks Magnet, I half expected you to throw flaming handfulls of your own excrement at me. This was a suprise.
Uh, yeah what he said Priest.
Death Magnetic is pretty good. Metallica will never be the band they were when they made justice. too much has changed. its still the best thing they've put out in a long time
Lars is a ****ty drummer. Hammett is average for the most part.
James nowadays is an average singer, he had a good thrash voice back in the day. He's a great rhythm guitarist.
While Rob Trujillo is an insane bassist, he hasn't exactly written any Metallica basslines yet. And I'm not sure whether he will be given enough space or creative license to reach his potential.
i wonder how many people crapping on metallica for selling out would be crapping on metallica for being stagnant had they just kept rehashing ride the lighting and master of puppets for the last 20 years.
I suppose, though I feel that it is really hard to crown any one person as the 'best' rhythm player. You could probably say what you just said for quite a few rhythm guys.
**Side Note: It's gonna take some getting used to not seeing the old avatar
It's always worth getting hold of some live bootlegs as well, i have some more recent ones and even they're really brilliant.
Metallica, why did you have to sell out!!?!??!?
Haha, Metallica was a VERY talented and original band in the begining, and produced some of the defining Metal recorRAB like "Kill Em All" and "Ride The Lightning"...
I would say they were good all the way up until the black album, that way their "selling out" point.
My favorite album is probably "Kill Em All"...
My favorite songs are...
One
For Whom The Bell Tolls
Seek And Destroy
Master Of Puppets
