Not really. Fushigi Yuugi was on in the middle 90's. Its by Yu Watase. She also did Cerse and Alice 19th. The manga is still going although. I higly recommend it. It has some more thematic elements then Sailor Moon ( ex,. It talks about rape, people die and it has nudity) but its really good
