Good luck with the "Great phones" idea.

Cricket will never get the "great" phones... because they don't subsidize their phones like verizon, sprint, etc. do. Not many people would pay $600 for a Cricket XV6700, but that's what it'd cost if cricket decided to add that phone to their lineup.

Unfortunately, unless you mod phones from other providers, you'll most likely be stuck with bargain basement crap from cricket.

the 6265i is not ev-do capable. the remix also is 3g, but it isnt capable of ev-do

Yes they will be releasing a kyocera smartphone, and some lg phones. I have heard this from several people. Plus they released the samsung siren! Do not like the motorola phones, because they are only dual mode. I guess that dosent matter because the federal goverment is turning off the amps analog sometime this year i believe!!!

My wife has the Siren and I am impressed with it. It is actually very nice and feature packed. I was skeptical but playing with it changed my mind.
