for an online sale.? I had an item for sale on amazon, item sold, I then purchased shipping for item through amazon shipped item.USPS.com showed item being processed in at my local post office and then being processed at another post office and that was it for about a month. When the item wasn't received the buyer contacted me I told them I only had the same tracking info as they had and could only contact the post office to see if they could help. So the buyer filed a complaint and even with me providing amazon the tracking info to show that the item was shipped by me and lasted processed at a facility not even in my state they ruled in favor of the buyer, and gave them a full refund.
So a couple of days ago my local Post master contacted me saying the item had been delivered . So I checked the tracking info and the item had been delivered 2 weeks prior.
So I contacted the buyer and asked them to either return the item or the refund, and they replied saying they would not and that they felt they should get the item for free since usps botched the shipping.
So can I now go down to my local court house and file a suit in small claims court for the money that I am out of.
