...would it be? BQ: Why? And do you think you could convince people you were them?
BBQ: Will you write a few lines or a stanza in their style to prove you could?

Happy Hiram. To find out why he is always happy.
Keep writing ,so i can be happy.I find nothing good
at all about your poem.So? you're 14?
Why i keep getting thumbs down?
Dave:
A blond woman lay
Unconscious on the dusty streets
Of Puerto Vallarta in a Red dress
That was once yellow
before she was trampled
by horses
of purest White.
HH:
I love hating people
Now write something good!
Himedal:
Goth is not dark
Not dark
It is passion
Mixed with death
Mtheory:
The puzzle remains
Prismatic yet sane
Hypothesis proven
Salvation regain
Cheesey:
There once was a poet named Rockov
Who kissed every arse he could think of
Peter:
You accuse with such threats,
And point your pointer finger
but I say truly
You are not pointing high enough
Adam Snow:
O My Convalescence!
Kirby:
This place
is always better
in my mind.
Bring it!
D:
Mornin' Yowee!!
It's cold out Yowee!
Gary:
Easter is a special
Time of celebration
For dust-bunnies
NO OFFENSE MEANT! Only playing! We good?
Okay, I'll be Dave for the day. Here is what I would write if I were Dave:
The woman was in three pieces
torso in the dumpster,
legs sticking out from the sewer grate
The arms, neck and head
hung light Christmas lights.
The detective didn't find this
in the least disturbing or odd
as it was his wife's sister
and she had it coming.
Now all praise Jesus and
Love your fellow man,
Which is perfectly consistent
with dead women in a dumpster.
Throw in a little whiskey
a rat scurrying around
a reference to my favorite poet
and then I am done.
Please don't criticize or be
mean, I am a delicate soul
and I may need to block you.
The ladies all love me,
(well at least the live ones.)
I'd trade places with Dallas for a day..... That way she could be me & I could be her & she would have one whole day of no pain or anything
I could never write in Dallas' style of writing.. I'm too unconnected with nature... What? It's the truth! :P
As a male, I can refer to males with more accuracy:
1. mtheory
2. Gene
3. HH
4. Fred
5. Himedal
I consider them to have something compatible to my way of thinking. Complicated also unexplored.
Among women:
1. Damsy Blues
2. LoveChild
3. HumptyDumpty
4. Kirby
5. Doe
6. Elys
Interesting femmes, all unique, tested, tried out souls, complicated but kind, true ladies and firm. Well respected all of them, genuine.
Good question!!!
I don't know so much if I could even stand in the shoes of the of the poets I know here, but sure can think of it as a gathering together those of like passions.
In fact in a gatherin like that I might just be on the side listenin in jaw droppin awe.Oh that was kinda the BQ
Yowee this might be hard?
Cerulean sky would have to be in yers.
Vibrant images painted
as the brush takes control of the artist
Sidewalks dirty in the pall
old placards peeling
from crumble walls,
as this city loses its feeling
That was kinda BuK but probly don't do him justice
Cassie is fragarnt vines growin on her garden wall
HH is forthright, not afraid at all.
HD is so loved, and her soul was worn outside of her
Nancy and BG, tickle me, my first sisters, allowed my free.
Liz is pretty intense sometimes, but softness can be read between the lines.
So many I probly will miss, so if I do here's a tender kiss, Ben, and Ma, and Sue, Blue and Skinny, I love you too.
Serene, Debra, Ash and Cheese, Taghi I couldn't forget you, please.
HS, TC, haven't seen in awhile, Tori and Oak bring me smiles,
Susanna, Jenny, Gemeni, Sandy giggles, Gary tickles, Fatal kiss and Sin, in different ways, pull me in.
Peter and Ray, Neon too has his say, as does MTheory, and I found one I'll mention last, The Midwest Arsonist, offers intense blasts.
If I missed I apologize, also apologize for not exactly followin the rules.
