    Video converters?

OK i'm in a rush so i'll mention programs to get later.

    For now PTunes...
    Try this.
    1) Bring top menu down and tap ACTIONS.
    2) Tap MANAGE PLAYLISTS
    3) Create a NEW playlist
    4) Tap ADD SONG
    5) Find where your songs are located and tap SELECT ALL. (Note: depending on the folder you may some tunes that are preinstalled on your Palm such as "La mas bonita")

Lemme know if it works, now... DINNER TIME!!!

    Video converters?

There are two things that may have happened, either you selected an individual song or a playlist. To solve this do one of the following:

    For a single song:

Using Pocket Tunes, Go to menu, actions, open.

It will search for any files you may have or return a "blank" screen if there are none.

Don't select anything and press "OK"

This should cause the playlist to be blank and it won't look for any previous file that was selected.

    To clear a playlist:

    Menu
    Actions
    Manage Playlists
New (creates a new list called untitled)
    Save list
(This creates the Untitled list with no songs)
Tap this list to select it
    Then tap Select

This should return you to the P Tunes screen with no songs listed.

    fnagle

    Video converters?

pocketdivxencoder is really good with enough options, but i have a problem...i'm trying to encode anime...each anime file is about 170mb each...and i only have a 512mb card...if i put the anime as is (no encoding) on the card and play it, the video/audio stutters when there is fast motion scenes...other wise its fine...but if i encode it during the fast motion scenes if there is any subtitles, those subtitles become blurry and not readable...i want to encode/compress the video so that, at least, the fast motion scenes wont have blurry subtitles or wont stutter...

can anyone help me out with encoding this right?

    Video converters?

What is the video size and bit rates of the video and audio of the original and the converted one. Also try increasing the buffer size inside TCPMP.

    Video converters?

well from episode to episode the bit rates change but..here's one for example:

    WxH: 640x480

    Audio Bit Rate: 112kbps
    Video Data rate: 135kbps
    Frame Rate: 23 fps
and i think its encoded with divx 5

this is all from right clickign on the file and goign to properties

how do i increase the buffer in tcpmp i dont see the option

    Video converters?

Options > Settings > Select page then Player and increase the buffer size. If that does not help, it because the size is probably too large, perhaps reduce to 320X240 and keep everything else the same.

    Video converters?

i dont see "options>settings" in TCPMP...where is that? I have TCPMP Version 0.72RC1

edit: i just installed 0.71 and i dont see the option in there either.
also is h.264 a better codec to encode with rather than xvid? and if so are there any free progs that are similar to pocketdivxencoder and has h.264 features?
