Apple may be better then Nexus One and here we got a proof.

most people agree because apple has the patent on multi touch. so google would have to pay apple before they are allowed to use it. google DID enable multi touch on the verizon droid eris i believe, just not on any of the other android phones thus far...

I believe N1 now has multitouch so the is now a mute point.

I think the Droid Eris only has it because HTC enabled it themselves. But as the previous poster stated, the Nexus One now has multi-touch, and the Droid has it in maps.

I still think this was all blown out of proportion. They still had it available for third party apps and there are alternatives to multitouch in a lot of cases anyway. I mean, look at the N900. It has a resistive single touch screen and you can do precise zooming in the browser with their swirl gesture.
