IIRC, anything other than Rogers and Fido use the HSDPA network (3G) for their sim phones (as opposed to good ol' GSM). North America had to be different from the rest of the world so they use different frequency bands (850/1900 vs 2100). Again I'm not sure about it all....I just woke up...

so whats the next best phone in line after the n95 8gb that will work with tmobile? i had the crackberry curve before this and loved it... only issue with that phone was that the web browser sucked and no video recording... i even tried the iphone for 3 days with att and hated it! i need a full web browser phone thats not windows mobile either... sorry to be picky.

Well if you liked the N95 8gb, why not just try the N95-3? The differences between the two really are only minor (IMO)
