Need Help Tethering Samsung Rant M540 On Cricket

Hey guys searched for a few hours for the last few days and can not find anything on tethering the Samsung Rant for cricket. I have web working and as most of you know there is no working mms for this phone.
So I programed with cdma workshop and qpst. I flashed it with 32000 prl and followed the instinct wap solution to get my data going. I try to dial a data connection from my PC using Windows XP and the tx and rx bars appear on my phone like it is connected. Then after 10 seconRAB it just drops the connection. It restarts itself after a couple seconRAB but it just drops again. Need some help with this one. Any ideas? Is it even possible?

more than likely, if you bought it from cricket, they've disabled dial-up networking. the easiest way to tether on cricket is with an non-cricket android phone. if it's a non cricket m540, just look around and more the likely to find the answer

Thanks for the reply. This is originally a sprint phone that I bought from a guy that was on pocket. I flashed it to cricket myself
