Although homosexuality itself is perfectly legal in all of these places, gays still boycott the entire Utah (because of Mormon's support of California's "Proposition 8") and Rushville, IL because a sheriff made "anti-gay remarks" on Facebook:

But places, where "sodomy" is outright illegal, seem perfectly acceptable to this crowd:

Gay Caribbean cruises have been popular for several years despite hostility to homosexuality on certain islands, especially in Jamaica, Barbados and the Cayman Islands.

Why would a homosexual avoid going to Utah (such as to ski), but still go to Barbados or St. Lucia for a cruise?
Ingsoc1, let me rephrase my question -- why hasn't a single major gay organization even called for a boycott of these islands? They have called for a boycott of Utah -- even if not all gays observe it...
Jaker, in St. Lucia, for example, a couple of gays can be BEATEN TO DEATH by the people on the street if they observed as holding hands or some such "display of affection"... Police would do them a favor by arresting them -- I discussed this with our cleaning lady at a resort over there. And yet, no calls for boycotting the island can be heard -- why?
