As President Obama heads to Florida to talk to Hispanic lawmakers, his re-election campaign is hitting Republican opponent Mitt Romney over the immigration issue.
A new video from the campaign spotlights Romney's refusal to say whether he would repeal Obama's new policy ending deportations of children of illegal immigrants.
"Mitt Romney is still dodging questions about repealing the order," said a campaign statement. "Obama for America's new video illustrates Romney's failed opportunities to provide a straight answer for the American people."
Obama speaks this afternoon in Orlando to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials.
Romney addressed that group yesterday, saying that Obama's new policy is a stopgap measure, and that he would work with both parties to fashion a new overall approach to immigration.
"I will put in place my own long-term solution that will replace and supersede the president's temporary measure," Romney said.
