The Old Testament Ianna also known as Ishtar (pronounced Easter) who came from an Ark, ancient Sanskrit word meaning "ship" (that looked like a spaceship)... kids colored Easter eggs on the Spring equinox to celebrate her and her son Tammuz (Adonis or the one true son of God).
She was the Goddess of fertility (bunnies and chicks were sacred to her as well), destruction and Resurrection from ancient Sumer and her consort was King Sargon who has the exact bio as Moses. All are in the Bible and Tammuz is the 10 month of the Jewish calendar as Tammuz means Lord to them still.
All three claimed to be giant beings from outer space that created mankind. And are in ALL translations of the Bible!!
Ishtar resided at the Temple of Mari.
Ishtar had the highest alter at King Solomon's Temple... All were known as the worst type of heathens and some say they were cannibals... My research yields... YES!! True.
All three (1st "known" trinity) mysteriously closed out the ancient civilization of the "Fertile Crescent" that had schools, eloquent writing, laws, taxation systems, libraries, etc.. (as we live now).
I've been a Christian for years, and I have never heard of the egg being a symbol of anything. I didn't see anything special in the bible regarding it.
