    "A Brief History of Time Outs" is a basketball coach's book by U. of Maine head

    coach Steve Hawking? What? Who said this? Are we trying to be amusing? Or what? I have heard of this Steve Hawking guy and the book title sounds mighty familiar, but--really, is somebody doing a full court press on my brain or is this just a prank of some kind cooked up by physicists who happen to like basketball?

    They could also probably get you a pretty good deal on the Golden Gate Bridge or the Eiffel Tower.
