Should I change jobs during this recession?

I've graduated college a few weeks ago, and during that time I've worked part-time. I'm looking for a full-time job to start saving some money for when I hopefully get married in a year or so. Problem is, since it's rumored that this recession is going to get worse, should I stay with my current part-time thats been reliable for 5 years? I'm worried that if I do get hired as full-time, that my employer will say, "I'm sorry, but people just aren't buying, and we're losing revenue. So we're going to have to let you go."
Should I stick it alittle longer part-time with a reliable job? or try to get a full-time in this scary recession??
