    A debate... argument? Please!?

there are many dangerous parts of society today that are dangerous. If you could rate "level of chance to get killed" as danger then I would say drugs are somewhat < than guns. Even though guns are very dangerous, society tolerates them because of the benefits of gun ownership. Does society ban drugs because it simply has no benefits?

People in large groups become ignorant and frightful and will believe anything they are told if they are being told from a person who seems like he knows what they are talking about. step away from the group and you realize that nothing makes sense in the world of politics and government and society.

Alcohol kills and harms many more people per year than all drug users put together..closely followed by smoking cigarettes.Society does not ban drugs..governments do.There is no money to be made for the government from the sale of drugs, hence the illegal status drugs have. However alcohol is a drug and is legal because the government make billions of pounds from it.Society do not chose what is banned and what is legal.Society simply adhere's to the laws laid down by the powers that be.
