PS3 is way better. Better graphic, better quality, better everything.

the blu ray on the ps3 is the second best in the market, so that a great buy (ps3 sells at a deficit because they know they'll sell gmaes. Its blue ray player could be $500 on its own)

game and online wise, its not QUITE as good, but thats me being picky because I play too many games. the PS3 has many of the 360s best games (fallout 3, dead space, sports games, etc.) and some great titles of its own (LBP, MGS4, both game of the year nominees and winners). The PS3 also has a lesser failure rate and costs nothing to play online

All in all, its tied for me. I play my 360 more, but I have both.

Personally i think an Xbox 360 is better.
The graphics are better on ps3 but if you look at it carefully and compared with an Xbox 360, The graphics on a ps3 is worse, it actually just has better lighting/contrast than an Xbox. Yes, Blu-ray is a plus, but you can just buy a Blu-ray player instead. And it probably won't burn out like a ps3. You can buy movies off Xbox Live, but it isn't blu-ray. And if you are a gamer which you probably are, games on an Xbox 360 are WAY WAY WAY WAY Better than Ps3 Games.
